Teaching Plan
2 semesters, 17 weeks in each semester, 2 periods/week, 45m/period Skill training running through the entire Y 2 (sometimes 3) weeks for each topic, one week for E-C, the other for C-E 1-2 mock exercises/semester

由于口译笔记和数字口译是教学中的难点和重点,故用专门时间进行详细讲解和演示教学。在讲解和演示结束后,将进行现场演练、学员互评和老师讲评。
1)Unit 5: Note-taking (8:30-10:30) 讲解及演示(8:30-10:00) Theory focus: cognitive processing capacity; attention splitting; memory vs. note-taking Skill focus: nature and features of note-taking; what to note; how to note; different formats of note-taking Topic focus: education, family, society, etc. Skill-related exercise Mock dialogue 现场演练、学员互评和老师讲评(10:00-10:30)
2)Unit 8: Interpreting Figures (10:30-12:00) 讲解及演示(10:30-11:30) Theory focus: differences in E and C numerical systems; illogical and irregular in nature Skill focus: note-taking a must; using “.” and “,” when taking notes; Topic focus: economy, foreign trade, population, finance, etc. Skill-related exercise Mock forum 现场演练、学员互评和老师讲评(11:30-12:00)
